Sarah, the founder of VAST, is a Swedish creator who has called Kenya home for over a decade. She began her journey in high-end fashion — a world of precision, exclusivity, and fast-changing trends — but always felt a quiet pull toward something more honest, more human, and more timeless. Her love for garments runs deep. To Sarah, clothing is like a second skin — it should feel good on the body, move with ease, and carry stories within its weave. She’s drawn to natural materials, raw textures, and the quiet language of cloth — believing that garments are alive, softening and evolving over time. Inspired by her travels across Africa and her deep connection to craft and culture, Sarah created VAST: a consciously rooted brand that blends heritage and simplicity with a soulful, inclusive approach to design.
